SHATTER MESSIAH Sign With DOCKYARD 1

April 6, 2006

SHATTER MESSIAH, the new band featuring former NEVERMORE/ANNIHILATOR guitarist Curran Murphy and ANNIHILATOR drummer Robert Falzano, have inked a deal with Dockyard 1 Records. The band's debut album, "Never to Play the Servant", is tentatively scheduled for release later in the year. Audio samples from the band's two EPs — "Your God's Demise" and "Never to Play the Servant" — are available for download in the multimedia section of the band's official web site.

SHATTER MESSIAH's sound was previously described as "a viciously intense mixture combining Curran's hardcore metal roots with classic thrash and power goth, resulting in compositions of over-the-top aggression and melodic skill (containing subtle hints of the bands Curran has been affiliated with in the past)."

Curran Murphy - Guitars
Greg Wagner – Vocals
Robert Falzano – Drums
